More Tantric Sex - Practical Application
Many people find the association with the spiritual aspect of tantric
sex a turn off. That is really too bad though, as in reality, it
needn't prevent anyone from learning some of the very good and basic
biological aspects of tantric sex which might otherwise serve to
enlighten and delight anyone who cares to investigate them with
an open mind. There are a good many things we can learn from tantric
sex that might be very useful to examine more closely, increasing
both knowledge and pleasure.
Sting, the former lead singer of the Police, has been an advocate
of tantric sex for many, many years, and maintains that 'regular'
sex doesn't even interest him now. For a guy with as much access
to regular sex as he has had, you may want to make a note of this.
The most obvious way to approach investigations into tantric sexual
teachings, is to ignore any references to God, should we have a
problem with these - or anything we don't truly believe in ourselves,
and substitute love, or something else we do believe in. This is
not meant to disparage the believers in tantric ideology, but rather
to make the very good revelations they contain available to those
outside of the faith. Good sex and good communication are both things
I heartily endorse.
Tantric techniques that enable men to achieve orgasm without ejaculation
for instance, are possible to put into practice, to a lesser degree
perhaps, in aide of controlling premature ejaculation, or simply
prolonging pleasure. The principle of this technique involves learning
to recognize your own body's orgasmic, and pre-orgasmic responses.
While it may be possible to enlist the support of your lover in
some cases, the technique is a bit technical, and so you might want
to run through it a few times on your own first, taking matters
into your own hands, so to speak.
While masturbating, pay particular attention to your level of arousal.
For the purposes of this experiment, I suggest refraining from the
use of pornography so as to more fully maintain your attention and
awareness. Try to use your imagination only. Remember, the imagination
is the most powerful erogenous zone, and like anything else, needs
some exercise to stay in peak condition.
When you feel like you are getting close to climaxing, but before
you pass the point of no return, make a mental note of what you
feel so that you can recognize the pre-orgasmic sensation. Back
off a bit if you can and try to stay at this point for a while.
Don't worry if you slide over the edge the first time. It is after
all, the primary biological purpose that nature has always intended.
But when you feel your orgasm beginning, pay attention to the contractions.
An orgasm consists of a series of involuntary muscular contractions
numbering somewhere in the vicinity of 8 to 25 on average. This
is true for women and men as well. Count yours and gradually get
to know your normal number of orgasmic contractions.
