Attracting Women in Bars
Chapter 2
Eye Contact and Body Language:
The next step is to make eye contact. If you hold your gaze on
her and she frowns and turns to her friends, forget it. If she holds
your gaze for a moment and looks away, investigate further, she
may just be shy or coquettish, repeat your gaze a few times and
see what happens. If she smiles or blushes when you look at her,
it means she's interested. You making eye contact with her is crucial
to any kind of result. Also, keep your body language open if you
do decide to approach her, this means that you should lean slightly
forward to hear her and keep a smile on your face. Do not have your
arms crossed or folded, as this sends out a "leave me alone"
message. Even if you are nervous, try to remember not to fidget
with things or tap your foot, or any other nervous behavior. It
is important to be self confident and sure of yourself. You have
to remember however, not to go too far with this and acting cocky
or arrogant. Women will label you as snobby or slimy right away
and that ends your chance with her right there.
Dancing:
Women in nightclubs are generally there to dance. Don't be afraid
to ask them, as many pretty women stand around for hours before
anyone has the nerve to approach, and chances are she'll be happy
to. If she says no, don't be offended, she may have sore feet, be
waiting for a friend or numerous other reasons. She will almost
always say no if you are drooling and looking her up and down as
you approach however. Some general dancing rules:

Don't try to slow dance on a fast song.

Try not to step on her feet.

Don't attempt to grope her while you are dancing.

If she agrees to dance with you, dance with her for a song
or two and then let her get back to her friends without hanging
out at her table. Wait a half hour or so before you ask her
again, as this gives her a chance to get another drink, go to
the bathroom and sit down for a bit. It also let's her know
you're not desperate. If she says yes when you ask her again,
your odds of success for a future date are high.
Drinks:
The rules for sending drinks in the new milleneum have changed.
Many women are now leery of this as they may feel women's liberation
does not allow for men to buy them anything. Another concern is
the recent trend involving drugging beverages with Rohypnol or GHB.
It is best if you have the bartender or waitress ask her if she
will accept a drink from you. Have them bring it to her only once
she's accepted and don't join her table unless you are invited to.
Another friendly but unobtrusive approach is if she is sitting with
a friend, send both of them a shooter from you and toast them when
they turn to smile at you. Again, don't join them unless you're
asked. Some women will still refuse, as some of them may feel that
you are trying to buy their company.
