Does Penis Size Matter?
Chapter 2

The media is also a culprit in putting pressure on men to measure-up to size large. For instance, the last time you watched an adult film, was the male star of the film a small 4 inches, or a standard 6? Well, how about a whopping 10 inches! That's usually about the norm in the trade as they generally employ abnormally large men in their movies. Why do you think you always see the same guys staring in them? It's certainly not because of lack of interested contenders! The simple fact is that most men just don't measure up to these mutants. The industry seems to have drilled it into our collective heads; the biggest penis gets the girl. Or is it the girl gets the biggest penis? Either way, there is no mistaking the point.

This leads to an interesting fact; men with larger penises sleep with more women than their average or smaller sized peers. Many studies have reached similar conclusions, but why? A woman doesn't usually know her date's penis size before she decides whether or not she has sex with him. It is commonly believed that the answer has more to do with the psychological side of the story. Better-endowed men are often more self-confident, especially when it comes to meeting and getting to know women. On the contrary, men with smaller penises sometimes have a hard time dating, as they feel self-conscious about the size of their penis.

There are many businesses that exist as a result of men's insecurity in this area. Does everyone remember the Swedish penis enlarger that Austin Powers tried to pretend wasn't his in the movie? There are a considerable number of products which address the same concern out there, and there's a large market full of guys that buy them. It is important to note at this point that many of these products are worthless and the claims their manufacturers make groundless.

To answer the question, does penis size matter to women? The honest answer is yes. Although it is true that there are very few nerve endings inside a woman's vagina, and that a woman may be satisfied with varying sizes of penis, the fact remains that if a penis is too small, she may not find it enjoyable. It is important to note here that there are certain sexual positions, such as the missionary position, that work better for men with smaller penises. Men that aren't as well endowed simply need to pay more attention to technique, and hey, there's always oral sex. Far more frequently however, a very large penis is more problematic as intercourse can prove painful. If, for instance, a penis is too long for a particular woman, it may impact on her cervix which can be very painful indeed over time. The message here guys is that you have to learn to make the most of the equipment you have been given. It is the psychological aspect which is even more important to women though; they have a strong visual preference to men with larger penises. It is not just men that are culturally influenced to think that a larger penis is more manly and therefore more desirable. Women instinctively tend to desire men that are as masculine as possible, and as evolution explains, natural selection is the underlying basis for all aspects of human sexuality. As for the media, women are exposed to the very same pornography, and are conditioned to believe that it is better for a man to be well-endowed.

So, does penis size matter? You bet it does, to both men and to women. The physical reasons are minor, but the most important reasons are psychological. Does it mean that if your penis is smaller than average size, you will have difficulties with sex? There is no reason in the world why it should negatively affect your sex life, unless you allow it to. Accept yourself for what you are and be self-confident. After all, both Casanova and Don Juan were purported to be "average" men.
